Rug pads were created to keep rugs in place, prevent them from slipping, and give protection for the floor from abrasion and scratches as well as the area rug by adding cushion. The material is 100% recycled material that is moth-proof as well as not interesting to any known pest with a thickness of approximately 3/8th of an inch.
